During my most recent trip to Colorado we made a stop at Mt Evans during sunrise and I got to capture this beautiful landscape. This is some more fun with lens flare…I just couldn’t help myself.

Arbor LodgeDuring a Journey to Nebraska City. Decided to stop and capture a few images of the Morton Mansion. Sadly, we did not get to see the sprawling 52 room manor due to seasonal closure. Alas, maybe next time! See link below.

Keystone Pano

A view from the porch of a condo we stayed in during a trip to Colorado.

A little bit of fun with lens flare. This was taken somewhere just outside of Fort Collins, CO.

When taking a shot like this I usually take a few exposures, one that doesn’t have any flare and is a good clean image to work with, then for fun I take a couple with a ridiculous amount of lens flare positioned how I want it. Now the strange thing is that I end up liking the images composed with lens flare a bit more.

Mountain Goats at sunset

One of my favorites – Mountain Goat Sunset.

Sorry about the ridiculous watermark, usually I don’t go so crazy with them.

Cranes Take Flight.

Cranes at Rowe Sanctuary again, getting excited for going again this year!

Debating on renting a lens this time around, not debating about renting just which one to rent.

Taken at a night with cranes in 2012 at Rowe Sanctuary.

Brandon Engel UnderwaterMe underwater somewhere near Van Buren underwater taken by my girlfriend Jess.

I laughed at this and thought you might too.

Boyer Chute Snow Sunset Reflected Taken in Boyer Chute, on top of a small offshoot of the Missouri river that was frozen over. Boyer Chute is just north of Omaha, NE and due East of Fort Calhoun. This was just a little fun with sun flarring with my favorite lens and dualling suns.
