On this episode I called up Jarett Bies of the South Dakota Kayak Challenge. The South Dakota Kayak Challenge is a 72 mile paddle race on the Missouri River from Yankton, South Dakota to South Sioux City, Nebraska. The race is run annually and began in 2010.
I’ve already signed up for the 2018 race so I’ll see you up there!
I helped a friend out with this new podcast series with singer/songwriter types. The first episode will include most of the members of local band Bazile Mills, and Jared Burton who happened to be in town from California. Jared is traveling the country via train and managing to cram in as many gigs as he can along the way.
Bench Sessions will be an interesting project to follow.
