Blue Dream Lightroom Preset.

I’ve been making my own Lightroom Presets and I believe somebody might find a use for them.
First you need to know how to install and use presets and one of the better tutorials I’ve found
is over at ProPhotoShow.net Their article Lightroom Tip: Install & Manage Presets Like A FANATIC
will be a big help to those just starting out with presets.

I call this one Blue Dream. Useful for snow and ice scenes and landscapes.

To download this Lightroom 3 Preset: Right Click > Save As

This was made Lightroom 3 so I don’t know if this will work on earlier versions but feel free to give it a shot.

Omaha Flood Waters

Missouri Floods

Honey Creek, IA looking toward Nebraska.

The flooding as of early June. These first two where take out at a cabin my family owns in Honey Creek, Iowa. It was about a mile from the new shoreline, on a very tiny island. I know it’s under-water as of now, in my estimates those bird feeder are probably starting to get flooded.

Honey Creek Farmland Flood

Used to be a dirt road and farmland.

Man versus nature, eventually nature always kicks our ass.

Road Missour River Flood

One of the Roads that Leads to Boyer Chute.

One of the first roads to close in this area. This Area is a pretty vast flood plain and it always floods a lot, nothing compares to this year though.

Short Hiatus

If you haven’t noticed I’ve been on a short hiatus and will be for the next month or so.

I haven’t stopped shooting, just haven’t had time to edit anything. I also have a very large back-catalog I’ve been meaning to go through. Now is the time to send me an e-mail if we’ve had a shoot and you’d like to see more from me.

My time has been devoted to design work and preparing for an upcoming trip. Between those pursuits I’ve run myself thin.

Abandoned house near Ashland, NE.
Everything around it is twisted and has a very creepy feeling to it. Such things always seem to happen with abandoned buildings with a history.
